"Speed Dating" Event Connects STEM Teachers & UW-Madison Science Outreachers

Teachers of talented & gifted students throughout Wisconsin are convening at UW-Madison on Thursday December 5.  They'll get a chance to talk one-on-one with outreachers from 20 STEM programs.

The teachers will learn more about the people, places and resources that support students in their exploration of science as probing the unknown.  These include field trips, special events on campus such as Science Expeditions (April 4-6, 2014), visits by scientists to schools, family science nights at schools, and citizen science opportunities.

The outreachers will learn more about the interests and aspirations of the learners and their parents and teachers.
